Can Google index this page?
Paste up to 5 page addresses. We open each one the way Googlebot does and report everything that decides whether Google can index it — with a clear verdict and the fix for every problem.
5 checks an hour and 20 a day without an account. Every URL you submit with a plan gets the same check first — blocked pages are never charged.
Your report appears here.
What the check looks at
The same things Googlebot looks at before a page can enter Google’s index.
HTTP status
Only pages that answer 200 OK can be indexed. 404, 410 and server errors can’t.
Redirects
A redirecting address is never indexed itself — Google indexes the page the chain ends on. We show the full chain.
robots.txt
If robots.txt disallows the path for Googlebot, Google can’t crawl the page at all.
noindex
A robots meta tag or an X-Robots-Tag header with “noindex” keeps the page out of the index.
Canonical tag
A canonical pointing to another page tells Google to index that page instead.
Sitemap
Pages listed in your XML sitemap are found sooner. We read your sitemap (and sitemap index) to see if the page is in it.
Page size and speed
Very heavy pages and slow servers are crawled less often.
Content
“Not found” pages that answer 200 and pages with almost no text without JavaScript are flagged.
Do this for all your pages.
Paste thousands of URLs: each one is checked like this, submitted in batches, and followed until Google’s index confirms it.
